THAILÄNDISCHE GENUSSKULTUR IN WIEN: Erfolgreiches Event in der Royal Thai Residence (VIDEO) ( D& ENG)

Am Mittwoch, dem 29. April 2026, fand in der Royal Thai Residence in Wien ein besonderer kulinarischer Nachmittag unter dem Motto „Bloom & Bond: An Exclusive Showcase of Thai SELECT Excellence“ statt. Im Einklang mit dem Frühlingsbeginn in voller Blüte wurde die Veranstaltung als exklusive Präsentation der thailändischen Genusskultur und ihrer internationalen Qualitätsstandards gestaltet.

Nach dem Empfang der Gäste folgte die offizielle Begrüßung durch Ihre Exzellenz Pattarat Hongtong, Botschafterin des Königreichs Thailand, die in ihren einleitenden Worten die Bedeutung kulinarischer Diplomatie und kulturellen Austauschs hervorhob. Im Anschluss erhielten die Besucher im Rahmen einer Präsentation Einblicke in „Thai SELECT“ – eine prestigeträchtige Auszeichnung des thailändischen Handelsministeriums, die weltweit an Restaurants und Lebensmittelprodukte vergeben wird, die den hohen Standards authentischer thailändischer Küche entsprechen.

Im Mittelpunkt der Veranstaltung stand der Gartenempfang, bei dem die Gäste die Vielfalt der thailändischen Gastronomie hautnah erleben konnten. Live-Cooking-Stationen sowie zahlreiche Stände von Thai-SELECT-zertifizierten Restaurants boten frisch zubereitete Spezialitäten und vermittelten einen authentischen Eindruck der kulinarischen Traditionen Thailands.

Den Abschluss bildete eine Verlosung, bei der attraktive Preise an die Teilnehmer vergeben wurden.

Die Veranstaltung verband auf gelungene Weise kulinarische Erlebnisse mit kulturellem Austausch und unterstrich die Rolle von „Thai SELECT“ als internationales Qualitätssiegel für authentische thailändische Küche.

Thai Culinary Culture in Vienna: Successful Event at the Royal Thai Residence

On Wednesday, 29 April 2026, a special culinary afternoon took place at the Royal Thai Residence in Vienna under the theme “Bloom & Bond: An Exclusive Showcase of Thai SELECT Excellence.” In harmony with the arrival of spring in full bloom, the event was designed as an exclusive presentation of Thai culinary culture and its international quality standards.

Following the reception of guests, the official welcome was delivered by Her Excellency Pattarat Hongtong, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, who emphasized the importance of culinary diplomacy and cultural exchange in her opening remarks. This was followed by a presentation offering insights into “Thai SELECT” – a prestigious certification awarded by the Thai Ministry of Commerce to restaurants and food products worldwide that meet the high standards of authentic Thai cuisine.

The highlight of the event was the garden reception, where guests were able to experience the diversity of Thai gastronomy firsthand. Live cooking stations as well as numerous stalls from Thai SELECT-certified restaurants offered freshly prepared specialties and conveyed an authentic impression of Thailand’s culinary traditions.

The event concluded with a lucky draw, during which attractive prizes were awarded to participants.

The event successfully combined culinary experiences with cultural exchange and underscored the role of “Thai SELECT” as an international mark of quality for authentic Thai cuisine.
