Der Afrika-Tag 2022 hat die Besucher mit auf eine Reise quer durch Afrika genommen (D & ENG)

Anlässlich der Feierlichkeiten zum Afrika-Tag 2022 lud im Namen der Botschafter der afrikanischen Gruppe S.E. Mohamed Elmolla, Botschafter und Ständige Vertreter der Arabischen Republik Ägypten, diesmal in seiner Funktion als Vorsitzender der afrikanischen Gruppe, am Freitag, dem 24. Juni, zum Empfang und einer Ausstellung ein.

Der Africa Day fand in der Rotunde im Vienna International Centre (VIC) statt, und diese Veranstaltung brachte eine große Anzahl von Diplomaten zusammen, nicht nur afrikanische, sondern auch internationale, sowohl multilaterale als auch bilaterale.

Nachdem der derzeitige Vorsitzende der afrikanischen Gruppe, S.E. Mohamed Elmolla, die versammelten Gäste mit einer angemessenen Rede begrüßte, folgte eine bunte Ausstellung.

In der Rotunde wurden Tische aufgestellt, an denen verschiedene afrikanische Länder an ihren Ständen traditionelles Kunsthandwerk und kulinarische Spezialitäten ihrer Länder anboten.

So nahmen die Aussteller die Besucher mit auf eine Reise quer durch Afrika von Ägypten über Libyen, Tunesien, Algerien und Marokko bis nach Südafrika, Namibia, Sudan, Niger, Burkina Faso, Elfenbeinküste, Angola und noch weitere.

Africa Day 2022 took visitors on a journey across Africa

On the occasion of the celebrations of Africa Day 2022, on behalf of the Ambassadors of the African Group, HE Mohamed Elmolla, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Arab Republic of Egypt, this time in his capacity as President of the African Group, hosted the reception and an exhibition.

Africa Day took place in the Rotunda in the Vienna International Center (VIC) and this event brought together a large number of diplomats, not only African but also international, both multilateral and bilateral.

After the current chairman of the African group, HE Mohamed Elmolla, welcomed the assembled guests with a fitting speech, a colorful exhibition followed.

Tables were set up in the rotunda, at which various African countries offered traditional handicrafts and culinary specialties from their countries at their stands.

The exhibitors took visitors on a journey across Africa from Egypt via Libya, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco to South Africa, Namibia, Sudan, Niger, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Angola and more.
