Italian magnate and billionaire Manfredi Lefebvre d’Ovidio, one of Europe’s most influential investors in the luxury tourism and maritime sectors, has been confirmed as a keynote speaker at the upcoming Adria Future Summit, taking place from April 22 to 24 in Tivat, at Porto Montenegro.
Now in its fourth consecutive year, the prestigious gathering is organized by Sustineri Partners in partnership with the Government of Montenegro. The event represents a new phase in the evolution of the former ESG Adria Summit, which ran successfully for three years. Over time, it has grown into a leading regional investment platform, bringing together decision-makers, investors, and leaders from across Europe and beyond.
Lefebvre d’Ovidio is the Chairman and owner of Heritage Group, a global investment firm headquartered in Monaco. His rise to the top of the global tourism industry began with Silversea Cruises, the ultra-luxury cruise company founded by his family in 1994. As Chairman, he transformed it into one of the most recognizable brands in high-end cruising before selling the company to Royal Caribbean Group in a transaction worth over $1 billion.
Today, he serves as Executive Chairman of Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group, one of the oldest and most prestigious names in luxury travel, and is also the owner of Crystal Cruises, whose fleet has recently undergone a full refurbishment at the Fincantieri shipyard in Trieste.
Beyond tourism, Heritage Group actively invests in renewable energy, biotechnology, and digital technologies. Lefebvre d’Ovidio is Chairman of the World Travel & Tourism Council, a member of the World Economic Forum, and a recipient of the Order of Saint Charles and Grimaldi, awarded by Albert II of Monaco. According to Forbes, his net worth is estimated at $2.3 billion.
