Anlässlich des 27. Jahrestages der Thronbesteigung Seiner Majestät König Mohammed VI. von Marokko luden der Botschafter des Königreichs Marokko in der Republik Österreich, S.E. Azzeddine Farhane, und Frau Amina Idrissi Belkasmi am Donnerstag, dem 30. Juli, zu einem feierlichen Empfang in Wien ein.
Die Festveranstaltung fand im eleganten Festsaal des Park Hyatt Vienna statt und brachte zahlreiche hochrangige Vertreterinnen und Vertreter des diplomatischen Korps, Persönlichkeiten aus Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft sowie namhafte Mitglieder der marokkanischen Gemeinschaft in Österreich zusammen.
Im Rahmen des offiziellen Teils richteten S.E. Botschafter Azzeddine Farhane sowie S.E. Botschafter Maximilian Hennig, Protokollchef des österreichischen Außenministeriums, Grußworte an die anwesenden Gäste.
Im Anschluss erfolgte das feierliche Anschneiden der Jubiläumstorte – ein symbolischer Höhepunkt des Abends und zugleich Ausdruck der traditionell ausgezeichneten und freundschaftlichen Beziehungen zwischen dem Königreich Marokko und der Republik Österreich.
Nach Abschluss des offiziellen Programms waren die Gäste zu einem festlichen Empfang geladen.
Ein besonderer Akzent des Abends lag auf der reichen kulinarischen und kulturellen Tradition Marokkos. Die Gäste wurden auf eine genussvolle gastronomische Reise durch das Königreich mitgenommen und hatten darüber hinaus Gelegenheit, die traditionsreiche marokkanische Teezeremonie aus nächster Nähe zu erleben.

27th Anniversary of the Enthronement of His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco
On the occasion of the 27th anniversary of the accession to the throne of His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Republic of Austria, H.E. Azzeddine Farhane, and Mrs. Amina Idrissi Belkasmi hosted a ceremonial reception in Vienna on Thursday, 30 July.
The celebration took place in the elegant ballroom of the Park Hyatt Vienna and brought together numerous high-ranking representatives of the diplomatic corps, distinguished figures from the worlds of business and society, as well as prominent members of the Moroccan community in Austria.
During the official part of the ceremony, H.E. Ambassador Azzeddine Farhane and H.E. Ambassador Maximilian Hennig, Chief of Protocol at the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs, delivered welcoming remarks to the distinguished guests.
The speeches were followed by the ceremonial cutting of the anniversary cake – a symbolic highlight of the evening and an expression of the traditionally excellent and friendly relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Austria.
Following the conclusion of the official programme, guests were invited to a festive reception.
A special highlight of the evening was the celebration of Morocco’s rich culinary and cultural heritage. Guests were taken on a delightful gastronomic journey through the Kingdom and were also given the opportunity to experience the traditional Moroccan tea ceremony at close quarters.
