Am Rande von “ViennaUP The Startup Festival”, das vom 8.-16. Mai 2025 in Wien standfand, organisierten die Kroatische Wirtschaftskammer-Vertretung in Österreich (HGK– Hrvatska gospodarska komora) und ZICER (Zagreb Innovation Centre) mit Unterstützung des Kroatischen Zentrums in Wien, am Mittwoch, den 14. Mai, die Veranstaltung “Spotlight on the Croatian Startup Scene – Entdecken Sie Kroatiens wachsende Startup-Szene”.
Dieser einzigartige Event für Startup-Unternehmen aus Kroatien fand im Beisein einer großen Zahl österreichischer Unternehmen, Investoren und an innovativen Ideen interessierter Wirtschaftsvertreter im Kroatischen Zentrum im 4. Bezirk, statt.
An der Veranstaltung nahmen neben den beiden Organisatoren der Veranstaltung Daniela Reinisch, Direktorin der Kroatischen Wirtschaftskammer-Vertretung in Österreich (HGK) und Herrn Frane Sesnic, Direktor von ZICER (Zagreb Innovation Centre), auch Gesandte Silvio Kus, Botschaft der Republik Kroatien in Österreich und Frau Mihaela Baric, Minister Pleniponitiary, Ständige Vertretung der Republik Kroatien bei der OSZE, den Vereinten Nationen und internationalen Organisationen in Wien, teil.

Spotlight on the Croatian Startup Scene: Discover Croatia’s growing startup scene
On the sidelines of “ViennaUP The Startup Festival”, which took place in Vienna from May 8-16, 2025, the Croatian Chamber of Commerce in Austria (HGK – Hrvatska gospodarska komora) and ZICER (Zagreb Innovation Centre), with the support of the Croatian Center in Vienna, organized the event “Spotlight on the Croatian Startup Scene – Discover Croatia’s growing startup scene” on Wednesday, May 14.
This unique event for startup companies from Croatia took place in the Croatian Center in the 4th district in the presence of a large number of Austrian companies, investors and business representatives interested in innovative ideas.
In addition to the two organizers of the event, Daniela Reinisch, Director of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce Representation in Austria (HGK) and Mr. Frane Sesnic, Director of ZICER (Zagreb Innovation Centre), the event was also attended by Deputy Silvio Kus, Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Austria and Minister Pleniponitiary Ms. Mihaela Baric, Permanent Mission of the Republic of Croatia to the OSCE, the United Nations and International Organizations in Vienna.
