Anlässlich des 95. Nationalfeiertages des Königreichs Saudi-Arabien lud S.E. Dr. Abdullah Bin Khalid Tawlah, Botschafter des Königreichs Saudi-Arabien in der Republik Österreich und Ständiger Vertreter bei den internationalen Organisationen in Wien, gemeinsam mit Gattin Frau Marwah Mohammed A. Bederi, zum Empfang ein.
Am Mittwoch, dem 24. September, folgten der Einladung des saudischen Botschafters zahlreiche Mitglieder des diplomatischen Corps, Vertreter internationaler Organisationen mit Sitz in Wien sowie angesehene Mitglieder der österreichischen Gesellschaft aus der Welt der Politik und Wirtschaft.
Im offiziellen Teil wandte sich Botschafter S.E. Dr. Abdullah Bin Khalid Tawlah mit einer Begrüßungsrede an die zahlreichen Gäste, danach folgte eine Rede von Botschafter S.E. Maximilian Hennig, Protokollchef des Außenministeriums.

Nach dem offiziellen Teil der Veranstaltung folgte ein Empfang im Palais Ferstel, wo Tradition und Kultur präsentiert wurden, sowie Spezialitäten des fernen Saudi-Arabiens serviert wurden. All dies zusammen trug dazu bei, dass beim Empfang Saudi-Arabiens in Wien die Atmosphäre des Nahen Ostens spürbar war.

The 95th National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was celebrated in Vienna
On the occasion of the 95th National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, H.E. Dr. Abdullah Bin Khalid Tawlah, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Austria and Permanent Representative to the International Organizations in Vienna, together with his wife Marwah Mohammed A. Bederi, hosted a reception.
On Wednesday, September 24, numerous members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of international organizations based in Vienna, and distinguished members of Austrian society from the world of politics and business accepted the invitation of the Saudi ambassador.
In the official part, Ambassador H.E. Dr. Abdullah Bin Khalid Tawlah addressed the numerous guests with a welcoming speech, followed by a speech by Ambassador H.E. Maximilian Hennig, Head of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
After the official part of the event, a reception followed at the Palais Ferstel, where tradition and culture were presented and specialties from faraway Saudi Arabia were served. All this together contributed to the Middle Eastern atmosphere being palpable at Saudi Arabia’s reception in Vienna.
